Participants pooled their knowledge and experience and looked for the answer to a very challenging question: “Is it possible to measure in a sound and impartial way efforts of NCP experts and set common Key Performance Indicators to compare these efforts across different NCP systems?“
The aim of the training was to deliver a general overview to NCPs on Access to Risk Finance, and to help understand financial instruments accessible under Horizon 2020: loans, guarantees, counter-guarantees and hybrid, mezzanine and equity finance.
The workshop facilitated an exchange of views among stakeholders in order to better define how the financial instruments, facilities and accompanying measures launched under Horizon 2020 can enhance access to finance for research, innovation and SMEs; the interactions between these financial instruments, COSMEs and European Structural & Investment Funds (ESIF), as well as with instruments at national and local levels.
1) To work towards a collective approach for best practice in NCP network projects; 2) To work towards a shared insight into the impact of running NCP network projects; 3) To reach mutual ideas for potential synergies and cooperation between the different NCP network projects; 4) To get a clearer picture of scenarios of the future NCP network projects
