Economic implementation and market acceptance of project results are now essential aspects of many Horizon 2020 projects. Standards and standardization can make a significant contribution to project success, especially when it comes to issues such as quality requirements, safety, compatibility and interoperability of innovative products and systems.
Therefore, it is important to consider standardization from conception of a Horizon 2020 project to the project completion and, in particular, the exploitation of project results.
